IMPACT & OUTREACH

In keeping with its philosophy of ‘Real Work Real Change’ Smile Foundation works intensively through focused welfare projects in four major areas – child education, healthcare for families, skills training and livelihood for youth, and community engagement through women empowerment.

So far, we have been able to directly impact the lives of over 1.5 million underprivileged people

  • Over 250,000 children have been provided education across India. Currently, more than 50,000 children are enrolled at 200 projects. More than 52% of all children enrolled are girls.
  • Nearly a million people from remote villages and urban slums are receiving doorstep healthcare services through our mobile hospital programme and telemedicine projects spread across 14 states.
  • More than 500,000 women and girls have benefited through our Swabhiman initiative via community specific interventions centred around education, health, life skill development and vocational training
  • Over 52,000 young men and women from urban slums have been trained and skilled in market oriented employability skills and provided employment opportunities to earn a secure and dignified livelihood.
